Ela Messina is currently a junior at Lane Tech. She decided to enroll in the Journalism class at Lane as she enjoys writing and wishes to expand on her skills in a way that can be useful in the future. Additionally she is a member of the track team as of last year and hopes to continue with the sport until she graduates. Looking towards college, Ela wishes to attend the University of Illinois and plans to major in Engineering and minor in Journalism.
